Frances Peck returns to Ottawa to offer a new seminar for local editors and writers. Grammar Fundamentals will cover all the grammatical terms and structures you need to know on October 25.

Jennifer Latham’s Estimating seminar for in-house and freelance editors focuses on costing a job, developing a realistic workplan, and preparing a fair and accurate estimate from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  1. I went freelance two years ago, and you can’t be prepared enough for this transition. I would heartily recommend the seminars on starting a freelance career and estimating. I took the estimating seminar when I was starting out, and it provided excellent advice that I’ve used ever since. I keep Jennifer’s guide to estimating right beside my desk and refer to it almost every time I write a proposal.
